Comedy Club

The Leadmill Comedy Club is back at The Steamworks for a night of top quality stand-up; starring 4 of the UK’s finest up-and-coming comedians.

Whether you’re planning a quiet date night, heading out for a big work do, or just looking to escape the mundaneness of the dreaded work week and have a proper laugh with mates, our monthly Comedy Club is the perfect way to switch off and wind down.

With great vibes, proper belly laughs, and mouthwatering food served all evening by El Chappo, this is your new favourite monthly night out.

Line Up:

Rachel Fairburn – Star of Live at the Apollo and co-host of All Killa No Filla podcast, is a renowned stand up and “rock’n’roll star of British Comedy”. “Bright, brave and bitterly enjoyable” (The Skinny). “A skilled impressionist…incredible” (The Guardian).

Danny McLoughlin – Has the sharp wit & material, likeable persona and strong stage presence that have seen him become a much sought after act in his short time as a stand up. A finalist in the Chortle Student Comedian of The Year in 2008, Danny went on to perform as part of the prestigious Big Value Comedy Show during Edinburgh Festival 2009.

Hattie Preston – Is a London-born, Chicago-built, Liverpool-living comedian. She has opened for major US and UK comics including Theo Von, Chris DiStefano, Jessica Kirson and Jack Whitehall. In London she is a regular at Top Secret, Angel Comedy, Boat Show and Big Belly. She is also a producer and host on the London chapter of Don’t Tell Comedy as well as running the very popular ‘The Big Fizz’ in London’s Notting Hill.

As an actress, Hatty has had roles on Call The Midwife and Cuckoo but is best known for playing Princess Maribel in Lionsgate’s ‘The Royals’ and for originating the role of Minty in Jennifer Saunders’s ‘Viva Forever!’ in London’s West End.

Ben Silver – Is a northern comic, delivering tales of the human spirit through an absurdist kaleidoscope of impressions, mis-directions and sprawling vignettes. Having been on the North West circuit for a handful of years and winning various competitions, he has garnered a reputation as a ‘masterful joke-writer’ and continues to be one to watch for the future.

Please note, the line-up is subject to change at any time.

El Chappo will be serving up their delectable tacos and burritos at all future comedy clubs!
