We’re on the lookout for three people to come and join our team in separate roles; promotions assistant, engineering assistant and a creative coordinator assistant!

The roles will be part-time and we’re looking to work with people to really make the jobs their own.

These roles are part of the Kickstart campaign where applicants must be aged 16-24, claiming universal credit. For more information please enquire with your Job Coach!

 

Event Promoter –

Main duties and responsibilities:
 Assist with the content, promotion, and smooth running of events both within and
outside of The Leadmill.
 To develop ideas for current club events and ideas for new events internally and
externally.
 To monitor competition regularly and develop strategies to increase attendance at
The Leadmill events.
 To sell tickets for the club events in Halls and other areas.
 To assist in identifying, building and developing key relationships with both
universities, halls of residence and colleges in Sheffield and surrounding areas.
 Help develop The Leadmill’s social media platforms and online presence.
 To assist with marketing plans and implement print and digital campaigns.
 To have a vast knowledge of all genres of music.
 To undertake any other relevant duties as reasonably requested by the senior
management team at The Leadmill.

Creative Media Coordinator – 

Main duties and responsibilities:
 Helping develop The Leadmill’s brands through creative mediums.
 Producing graphics for venue signage and visuals.
 Designing artwork for events such as club nights, live shows and outdoor events.
 Creating video content for marketing purposes.
 Working in the Print Shop department, producing flyers/posters/merchandise.
 Helping keep The Leadmill website up to date.
 Identifying trends within key demographics.
 Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
 To undertake any other relevant duties as reasonably requested by the senior management team.

Engineer Assistant  – 

Main duties and responsibilities:
 Assemble / disassemble set relevant for the events.
 Checking the building is clean and presentable & any subsequent maintenance.
 Checking equipment is in working order & any subsequent maintenance.
 Operation of lighting equipment for events (after training).
 Health & Safety checks.
 To perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager or the
Duty Manager.
