We are excited to announce that The Leadmill has a fantastic new job role available to help ensure the smooth running of the ticketing department, assist with finance/payroll duties and help with day to day office requirements

Working under our Head Of Programming, the job role will entail a multitude of duties and responsibilities, including:

  • Ticketing including dealing with online outlets, ticket printing, ticket distribution & ticket counts
  • Keeping a close eye on ticket allocations and marking back tickets where necessary
  • Getting events on and off sale, collecting will-calls, barcodes & guestlists for the stage managers
  • Creating and editing events on The Leadmill website
  • Responsible for any access bookings/requests and making sure they’re well looked after
  • Answering phones, checking voicemails, selling tickets, dealing with customer requests
  • Responsible for keeping customer marketing data up to date ensuring all GDPR regulations are met
  • Ordering and replenishing office supplies
  • Lost property enquiries
  • Running the weekly payroll
  • Daily box office cash & card reconciliations
  • Assisting the General Manager with finance duties including data inputting, filing & analysis
  • Administrative duties such as filing/shredding/minute taking as and when required
  • To undertake any other relevant duties as reasonably requested by the senior management team at The Leadmill

  Preferred qualities:

  • Very organised, and able to produce work within set time frames
  • A strong grasp of maths and excel worksheets
  • The ability to work well under pressure
  • Compassion and a calm head when dealing with customers & clients
  • Self-motivated, with an enthusiasm to develop skills over time
  • Confident with a good ability to use initiative
  • A passion and love for music and art, in any form
  • Experience with accounting and payroll software would be useful but not essential
  • Experience/interest in basic website editing would be useful but not essential

Hours of work

37.5 hours per week

Duration of contract

Permanent with 3 month probation

Rate Of Pay

£17,000 – £18,000 gross pay

Bonus Scheme

Performance based bonus scheme available on top of standard pay plus annual pay reviews
