Just because we know how viable the events industry is, and the skills required for people wishing to work within the industry…

We’ve teamed up with leading production company Eventcover, who look after the crew and technical staffing of events across the country, and their skills/training department.

We’ll be delivering a Level 2 training course in Technical Theatre Support and Safeguarding, with the course running on : 12 / 13 / 14 / 19 / 20 / 21 / 26 / 27 / 28 of January 2021.

Both courses will be completely free to attend to those whose are currently unemployed and/or in receipt of state benefits. For those that are unemployed, people earning under £17,004.50 will also be eligible.

These courses will help to provide people with entry level knowledge & skills in technical support roles – covering topics such as:

  • Manual Handling
  • Health & Safety
  • Unloading Trucks
  • Setting up Sound Systems
  • Customer Service
  • Volunteering
  • Employability issues which will aid attendees in the guaranteed work interview during the course

After completing your course, Eventcover will have your details to be able to contact you for future event work. Should you express an interest in The Leadmill too, we will make sure to keep your details for future events.

In normal circumstances, the qualification would lead to work opportunities fairly quickly with events running all over the country so frequently, but we still believe this will be a useful qualification, and will help open doors to future employees.
