The Leadmill Comedy Club is back but with a twist! We normally host on the first Wednesday of every month, but seeing as it is New Year’s Day, we have decided to move it to the Friday for a weekend of guffaws!
Join us for a night of top quality stand-up; starring 4 of the UK’s finest up-and-coming comedians.
Whether it’s a quiet date night, a belated festive do, or you just fancy laughing into the new year, get yourselves down to our monthly Comedy Club.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, Fat Hippo will not be providing food at this comedy club.

Our advance unreserved seats are just £7 (£5 with a valid NUS or Blue Light card) and our tables are £32 (seat up to 4 people). We also offer VIP tables, which includes; 2 bottles of wine or 10 beers, pic’n’mix and seats up to 10 people!

Rachel Fairburn is a comedian and writer from Manchester. Rachel featured in Chortle’s ‘One to Watch’ list in 2020 and picked up the 2019 online content award from Joe.co.uk . She has also been a finalist of several prestigious competitions including Funny Women, City Life Comedian of the Year, the NATYS and English Comedian of the Year.

Andrew O’Neill is an award-winning comedian, musician and best-selling writer. A psychedelic non-binary whirlwind, they combine surrealism, polemic and good old-fashioned stagecraft to produce uniquely counter-cultural stand-up.
