The Leadmill Comedy Club is back at The Steamworks for a night of top quality stand-up; starring 4 of the UK’s finest up-and-coming comedians.
Whether you’re planning a quiet date night, heading out for a big work do, or just looking to escape the mundaneness of the dreaded work week and have a proper laugh with mates, our monthly Comedy Club is the perfect way to switch off and wind down.
With great vibes, proper belly laughs, and mouthwatering food served all evening by El Chappo, this is your new favourite monthly night out.
Line Up:
Freddy Quinne – Based in Manchester, award-winning comedian Freddy Quinne’s “uniquely northern observational humour” has seen a meteoric rise into some of the biggest clubs in the country. Quinne couples “clever, well placed gags” together with a vulnerable persona for a unique experience which combines to make “a real tour de force performance.”
Karen Bayley – Hailing from Birmingham, Karen has been on the circuit for over a decade. She made a name for herself early on in her career reaching the semi-final of the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and was later crowned the winner of the 2001 Komedia New Act prize.
Danny McLoughlin – Danny has the sharp wit & material, likeable persona and strong stage presence that have seen him become a much sought after act in his short time as a stand up.
Tony Basnett – Tony has taken the circuit by storm. Described as an upbeat and playful comic, Tony has been seen across the country at top comedy clubs as well as performing at some of the UK’s major music festivals, with a mischievous and positive style that will get any crowd to warm to his charm.
El Chappo will be serving up their delectable tacos and burritos at all future comedy clubs!
