Rewind to 2007, in this fair Yorkshire city, where three boys and two girls joined forces to make a bit of a racket together. They were simpler times; the economy hadn’t crashed yet, Twitter had next to no trolls, and Gogglebox wasn’t a thing. Cats:for:peru gained notoriety both locally and nationally, signing to Thee SPC Records and releasing their debut album ‘Attack of the Pitching Machine’ and the succeeding EP ‘We Had This Problem Last Winter’.
Fast forward to early 2013, and it all got too much for these older and wearier musicians, ending in their amicable demise. They promised one last show to say goodbye. Admittedly they didn’t expect us to wait nearly 5 years, but Lucy, Keith, Stella, Richard, and Ad are finally back for one last hurrah, on the tenth anniversary of their formation.
Reflecktor are a collective of musicians, dj’s and producers creating their own brand of psychedelic indie electronica.
Pocket Satellite was born after a chance meeting at an open mic night, over a hot chocolate, on a quiet Thursday evening in Sheffield. They're a fun loving pop/folk band with five members, fifteen instruments, and are never seen without their red balloons and a canister of helium.
They have played at many major venues across the country, including Bush Hall and Proud Camden and have supported Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Admiral Fallow and The Head and The Heart. Their frequent festival appearances have also seen them sharing the stage with artists including Lucy Rose, Ben Howard and Ed Sheeran.
