The Leadmill Presents: Pete McKee’s Youth Club Disco – Crookes Social

Sheffield’s favourite nostalgia celebration is back! 

After a run of completely sold out events that had dancefloors heaving from start to finish, Youth Club Disco returns on Sunday 30th August for the ultimate summer Bank Holiday party!

For the first time, we’re bringing Youth Club Disco to Crookes Social Club, an iconic Sheffield venue and the perfect setting for a night built on old school spirit, community and proper good records. 

Once again, we’re teaming up with local legend Pete McKee for this one, turning back the clocks to the glory days. Four hours of chart-topping hits, cult classics and no-frills throwbacks to the memories forged in the youth clubs of the 70s and 80s, where no problem couldn’t be solved by a stint next to the turntable. If last time is anything to go by, you’ll barely have a chance to leave the dance floor.

And because it’s Bank Holiday Sunday, there’s no need to worry about that Monday morning alarm. This is your excuse to stay out late, lose yourself in the music and squeeze every last drop out of the long weekend. 

Youth Club Disco is a celebration of simpler days, killer tunes and dancing without a care in the world – and it’s got your name written all over it. 

Pete will be personally spinning choice cuts from his extensive vinyl collection on the night, alongside Leadmill veteran DJ Adam Morley. Together, they’ll be sound tracking a night that’s more than just a party, it’s a full-blown time warp.
