Formed in Glasgow in 2023, Soapbox have quickly built a reputation for explosive, unpredictable live shows and a no-nonsense punk ethos. Fronted by the incendiary Tom Rowan, the band tackle everything from public transport privatisation to greedy corporations and rising fascism with sharp, relatable anger.
Drawing influence from Amyl & The Sniffers, SOFT PLAY and Viagra Boys, Soapbox combine snarling punk energy with unmistakable Glaswegian grit. They’ve toured with Meryl Streek, SNAYX and Kid Kapichi, sold out King Tut’s twice, headlined St Luke’s for TENEMENT TRAIL, and appeared at TRNSMT, Pukkelpop and Lowlands festivals.
With two acclaimed EPs, HAWD THAT (2024) and LOCK IN (2025), Soapbox continue to grow heavier, sharper and more uncompromising with every release.
