Event Navigation

Ahir Shah presents his award-winning stand-up show “Ends”. The show spans six decades, three generations, and two continents, synthesising past and present in search of hope for the future. It’s funnier than it sounds, honestly. Loads of absolutely cracking gags.

“Ends” was first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe. Starting as a work-in-progress show, it became the word-of-mouth hit of the festival, culminating in Shah winning the 2023 Sky Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show.

Since then, “Ends” enjoyed 5 sold-out weeks at London’s Soho Theatre, and has been performed at both the prestigious Royal Court Theatre and the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles.

He’s now finally able to take it on tour, and he’s very much looking forward to it. You should come, it’ll be good.

The most important stand-up of the year, if not decade.” – Stephen Armstrong, Tortoise Media

“A show so magnificent on every level…Absolutely my show of the Fringe” – Dominic Maxwell, The Times

“this is truly outstanding stand up” ★★★★★ – Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard

“It’s clear why Ahir Shah won the Edinburgh Comedy Award with this remarkable piece of storytelling” ★★★★★ – Steve Bennett, Chortle

“A beautiful, lyrical love letter…Shah is an electric performer, super-intelligent, his material densely packed with insight, yet never far from a gag” ★★★★★ – Mark Wareham, Mail on Sunday
