SUMMARY:Declan Welsh and The Decadent West at Hallamshire Hotel
DESCRIPTION:Declan Welsh and the Decadent West are back. After time away writing their third record\, the Glasgow band return this autumn with 25+ dates across the UK and Europe\, from Saint Luke’s in their hometown to Berlin’s Badehaus\, London’s The Grace to Madrid’s Sala Sol\, in support of new album Explicit Agitation\, out September 2026. \nThe record is their most ambitious yet: a furious\, clear-eyed document of the present moment that refuses to look away. From deindustrialised towns hollowed out by decades of neglect\, to the death toll in Gaza counted out in verse\, to a withering monologue delivered from inside the mind of a ruling-class villain. But Explicit Agitation is also their most complete record: alongside the politics sits love\, loneliness\, lost faith\, and a searching self-awareness about what protest art is actually for. Recorded with Chris Marshall at Castle of Doom Studios\, who produced their debut\, the album’s title signals intent. The music delivers on it. \nFronted by singer-songwriter Declan Welsh; the band now features a rotating cast of friends and musicians alongside longtime bassist Ben Corlett and they have built their reputation through ferocious live performances and writing that punches as hard as it moves. Their debut album Cheaply Bought\, Expensively Sold earned a Scottish Album of the Year shortlist; their second established them as an essential voice and live act. They’ve headlined the Barrowland Ballroom twice\, topped the bill at Tenement Trail\, and played the main stage at TRNSMT\, alongside appearances at Glastonbury\, Isle of Wight and Reeperbahn. The band are delighted to reschedule dates originally due to take place in spring 2025\, and their recent appearance at Scotland’s Resonate conference was proof\, if any were needed\, that the electric live show is very much intact. Their track “Hardly News” was featured in Universal’s 2025 film Drop. 16 million streams\, 4.5 million on “Absurd” alone\, BBC Radio 1 Intro Track of the Week\, New Music Friday playlisted in the UK\, a national advertising campaign with Tennent’s. Declan recently signed a publishing deal with Notting Hill Music\, with further announcements regarding the albums release imminent. \nThe return of one of the UK’s most essential live bands. Explicit Agitation is out September 2026. The tour starts 24th September.

SUMMARY:Jen Brister (The Steamworks)
DESCRIPTION:Following a sold out show at the Crucible Jen brings her hit show back to Sheffield. \nJen Brister is Reactive – or so she’s been told. Apparently you don’t have to respond to every little thing around you. Finding herself in a constant state of exacerbation at the state of the world and people in general\, Brister has been told she needs to chill the hell out. Can Jen find her zen? It seems unlikely to be honest… \nJen is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer\, as seen on BBC’s Live at the Apollo\, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order\, QI and Mock The Week. Following a sold out 2022 tour\, Jen is back on the road with her highly anticipated new show. \n“Furiously Funny” – The Guardian \n“Her energy is explosive. Her use of space and delivery\, mesmerising” – The Sunday Times \n \n

SUMMARY:Morgan Rees (Foundry)
DESCRIPTION:Following a sold-out 2024 tour\, acclaimed stand-up and online sensation Morgan Rees is back on the road with a hugely anticipated brand-new show. \nAfter Morgan Rees and his partner went on separate holidays (one to a Mathematics Forum in Coventry and the other to a Bear Party in Barcelona) a massive revelation forced Morgan to re-evaluate everything. Being banned from Great Western trains\, being fired as a Naked Butler\, and ghosting Paul McCartney… were they really his fault? \nHas that got you hooked? Good\, because that’s the only stuff appropriate enough to include in the blurb. A stand-up show about; the trials and errors of falling in love and keeping the spark alive\, the spiral-inducing limbo of awaiting a diagnosis\, and the experience of being a white Welsh valley boy integrating into a proud Guattari family. Oh\, he’s got plenty to talk about. \nAs well as garnering millions of views online and rave-reviews for his live shows\, Morgan has supported Joanne McNally\, Rhys James and Jayde Adams on tour. He’s appeared as a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards\, and hosts hit podcasts; My Bad and Chatting With Cherubs alongside Josh Jones and Gearóid Farrelly. \n“Fast gags\, unexpected swerves and rolling stories” The Sunday Times \n“A fine storyteller… with tremendous heart and warmth” ★★★★ The Scotsman \n“Fantastically funny” ★★★★ Entertainment Now \n“I was constantly laughing” ★★★★ Broadway Baby \n★★★★ The Skinny \n \n

SUMMARY:Hannah East (Matinee\, Foundry)
DESCRIPTION:Hannah East sold out her brand-new show so quickly\, we’ve added a matinee date at Foundry on 7th November 2026. Hannah’s latest show is a hilarious deep dive into the highs and lows of parenting. \nWith millions of views across her viral comedy reels\, she brilliantly captures the chaos\, joy\, and absurdity of mum life. \nFrom pregnancy and labour to breastfeeding\, postpartum struggles\, and everyday parenting challenges\, her sketches hit home with honesty and humour. Audiences love her for saying what mums are really thinking—but rarely say out loud. With her warm-hearted tone\, relatable mum impressions\, and fearless wit\, Express Yourself is a must-watch.
