New Job Roles: Event Duty Managers

Job Title: Event Duty Manager

Job Purpose: To ensure the smooth running of events.

Responsible to: FOH Manager

 

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Duty Managing duties for The Leadmill events providing an excellent customer service throughout the entire venue
• Have a good knowledge of the individual events
• Ensure that the cash handling system is controlled correctly
• Ensure that the event/s have the correct staffing levels
• Check that the set up for the event is correct and of a high quality
• Dealing with customer complaints swiftly and effectively, including use of CCTV
• Ensure that any incident or accidents are reported
• Ensure that the correct First Aid policy and Child Protection policy are being operated
• Gain a feel for the night by spending time inside in order to provide the promoter with useful information making suggestion on how to improve the event
• To undertake any other relevant duties as reasonably requested by the senior management team at The Leadmill

Preferred qualities:

• The ability to work well under pressure
• Assertiveness, compassion and a calm head when dealing with staff, customers & clients
• Self-motivated
• Confident with a good ability to use initiative
• A good grasp of maths and excel worksheets
• A passion and love for music & events

Hours of work
22.5 hours per week (either split between 1 or multiple candidates depending on the applications we receive)

Duration of contract
3 month probation

Rate Of Pay
£10 per hour

Bonus Scheme
Performance based bonus scheme available on top of standard pay plus annual pay reviews
