 Nine Black Alps are back. The Manchester outfit have been hiding low for a while, but they’re sure to wake us up to their punk-grunge revival once again on October 27th, after releasing their third album, "Locked Out From The Inside."

They can do stuff with guitar strings like no other. Repetitive, whining solos beat out the most an instrument can offer, carrying uplifting, heavy tracks such as ‘Unsatisfied.’

‘Cosmopolitan’ opens with four simple notes, forming the basis to an explosive frantic, song that is over in little more than 2 minutes. Enough time to get the veins bulging, heart beating and sweat pouring.
